Concert on 01 June 2019 in the Versöhnungskirche in Potsdam
The life and work of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy was the focal point of this year’s composer-themed concert. Students of the Musikschule played some of his most beautiful compositions for piano. The second part of the program was performed by Minju Song and Ashraf Kateb, who teach at the Musikschule and have both won international competitions. Together they presented the Violin Concerto in E minor, op. 64 and the Variations sérieuses, op. 54.
The audience honored the performances with a long round of applause.
